Is my blood pressure healthy?

I have just tried a home blood pressure monitor and the results are as follows;

119 Systolic Range
67 Diastolic Range

I am a 25 year old male and 5”10 in height and 13.8 stone in weight.

Your BP is perfectly healthy and normal. Well done.

    Most normal blood pressures fall in the range of 90/60 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) to 130/80 mm Hg. But a significant drop, even as little as 20 mm Hg, can cause problems for some people.
    Orthostatic hypotension is brought on by a sudden change in body position, usually when shifting from lying down to standing. This type of hypotension usually lasts only a few seconds or minutes.
    Orthostatic hypotension (also known as postural hypotension, and, colloquially, as head rush or a dizzy spell and to some people "the elevator effect") is a form of hypotension in which a person’s blood pressure suddenly falls when the person stands up. The decrease is typically greater than 20/10 mm Hg, and may be most pronounced after resting.
    The incidence increases with age.
    If you don’t have the symptoms of dizziness, headache, fainting, etc., then no medical treatment is necessary.

    Yes, very.
    Average normal is 120/80
    You could do with losing a bit of weight though. 12 stone would be more like it.

    It’s perrrrfect! You needn’t worry at all. Slightly on the lower side of normal, which is great, this is what you want. If you get angry and your blood pressure rises then it will still be within the normal range. Keep this up and you won’t need the doctor for a long time!

    With home monitors do at least three readings and ignore the first one. Those readings are fine.
